How To

Now here’s how to use it,
The first page you land on is the events page. What you have on this page is a dynamic map and the events below. As you can see the map has pins on it, each pin represents an event. Just click on a pin and the event pops up. Another way is to click on an event from the list, that will zoom you in to the location on the map. Below the map is the list of events, you can choose to sort them either by thx or by time. In order to drill down to each event, click on the (i) icon.
The bottom part of the event page is where you can show your appreciation by thanking the user with thx, send them a message to find out more or let more people know about this through your Facebook account (activate this under iphone setting-->Facebook). You can edit, delete and facebook share (in case you did not do it before) an event you posted. This is all located on the bottom part of the event page.
The Share page is where all the magic happens, and where you become a TripLights reporter. This is where all the events are created. To post an event all you need to do is choose a category, write a short description and share.
In order to enrich the event we recommend that you also set the time and add your pictures (not mandatory, but very cool), add a location if the event is not in your current location (by putting an address or from map) and share. Within a few seconds your post will be live for the whole world to see.
In case of no network you can work offline; the event will be stored on your device and will be shared once the network returns.

The Search page.
Let’s face it, there’re a lot of events out there and for this very reason we created The Search Page. The search page makes it easy for you to scout
events. Just choose the category and time and all the events in the area will turn up on the main screen, it’s really as simple as that. In order to
search you don’t need to register (althouh it is recommended). Once you register you can report events, THx events, contact TripLighters etc.

Tune in for more features to come! This is only the very beginning!
